Resilience 2

A monotone green photograph of a man with a beard. Black text overlaid.

Resilience 2’ is a Silkscreen print close-up portrait of a disabled man in his 60’s. The portrait is in shades of blue that turn green when touched. Layered over the top running from left to right in black, is text which turns invisible when touched.

The large portrait is imposing as the male stares out at the viewer with hooded eyes, his age gives his face character as does his full bushy beard. The layered words are how individuals who identify as disabled, Neurodivergent and D/deaf are made to feel by others. (Burden, Unusual, Judged, Free,)
