Sensory Cinema Spectacular | Loughborough 0-8yrs

Join us for a fun family film afternoon, as we transform our children's room into a spectacular sensory cinema experience!

We'll be showing Monsters Inc (rated U) and bringing the film to life with a range of sensory props, to engage the senses and help you look, listen and feel your way through the film!

Alongside the film, there will be a range of sensory activities, inspired by the film, for you and your child to explore and play with. This is an inclusive and interactive cinema experience, where families are encouraged to enjoy the session in whichever way they want to, whether that be relaxing on our beanbags and watching the film or getting messy with our sensory play activities! To complete the cinema experience, we'll also be providing some tasty film snacks during the session.

Please note that our children’s studio is situated on the first floor at Sense Hub loughborough. Unfortunately, our lift is currently being repaired and may not be accessible during this session. Staff will be on hand to support families getting upstairs but if you have any concerns about this, please get in touch at [email protected].

Who is it for?

This session is for families who are part of our free Connect and Play service, which supports children with complex disabilities. If you’re not sure whether this session is for you, please complete our service enquiry form or contact [email protected] to speak with a member of our team.

We'd recommend this session for children aged 3-8yrs, though younger children are still able to attend, if they'd like to. Please be aware that at least one parent/carer must attend the full session with each child and siblings are also welcome to attend for free.
