We're going on a bear hunt! Sensory walk Barnet

Join us our bear hunt sensory walk at Victoria Recreational park. Our Play Leaders will guide you on a fun filled adventure around the different areas of the park. During the walk, we’ll be engaging each of our senses to connect with our surroundings; from discovering what plants we can smell, exploring how different natural materials feel and what animals we can hear. Sensory activities will be included throughout the walk, such as exploring the river, mud painting and more! Our Sensory walks are a great way for the family to explore the outdoors together whilst developing the senses and can even improve mood and reduce stress.

We recommend bringing wellies and waterproofs for this adventure, we may find some thick oozy mud along the way!

This session we will be walking past a river, the route is wheelchair accessible. The session will end with a small craft activity. The park also has a car park including blue badge spaces, there is a small charge for the car park so please bring some change! This park has an accessible play ground which will be our meeting point for the walk.
