Inclusive Climbing | Bristol

About the activity

Come and have a  go at Clip 'n Climb and/or Bouldering at BLOC Climbing Centre. Trained and experienced instructors will provide bespoke support for each child, however all children must be supported by a parent/carer. Taking part in this activity will help children to develop their physical fitness, coordination, and communication.

There is a fee of £5 per child per session payable on arrival to the centre.

You will need to sign a Waiver prior to attending for the first time. Please ensure you sign this on arrival at the centre.

PLEASE NOTE: If parents/carers wish to support a child on the mats rather than watching from a distance, you must register as BLOC member. There is a £11 lifetime registration fee and you must either be an experienced climber yourself or complete an induction. Please enquire at the centre.

Who is this for?

This activity is suitable for both beginners and those with previous experience in climbing.  This activity is suitable for children with disabilities and/or sensory impairments. Individuals will need some physical ability in order to climb independently, unfortunately there is not currently any support available for wheelchair users.

Minimum age for Clip 'n Climb - 4 years old

Minimum age for Bouldering - 6 years old

About our activity leader

The Clip ' n Climb sessions will be overseen by fully trained climbing instructors who are very knowledgeable about climbing. Ask them for advice or ideas for creating more challenging climbs! The bouldering will be fully instructor led sessions.
