  • Enquiry and information service This service is open to deafblind people, their families, professionals working with deafblind people and anyone who has a general enquiry about Sense or any aspect of deafblindness.
  • Our services Information about our services.
  • Families Being the parent of a child with deafblindness can be a very emotional time. It's hard to know what to expect for your child, particularly as abilities and needs usually only become apparent over time.
  • People who are deafblind Information for people who are deafblind, including how you can campaign for yourself, your rights, benefits information and direct payments.
  • Social services staff This section provides information for people working in the social services based at local authorities and they are responsible for providing a support service for children and adults who are deafblind.
  • Teaching professionals Information for teaching professionals, including key approaches, teaching strategies, communication with and understanding deafblindness and how it affects the education of a child with multi-sensory impairments.
  • Shops and businesses Serving customers with sensory impairments may seem a difficult thing to get right. But it is surprising how simple it can be to transform your service into something accessible to deafblind people, and anyone with a hearing or sight loss.
  • Advocacy: capacity to communicate project for advocates and advocacy organisations intending to provide the Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy service.
