This section of the website covers CHARGE syndrome, a genetic condition with a wide range of possible features, including hearing, speech and sight problems, heart defects, delayed development, sensory integration problems, and related eating, drinking, sleeping and communication difficulties.
Babies born with CHARGE can require multiple early surgeries and other treatments. In other people, features are only recognised as they get older.
Each topic page provides key information about the many features of CHARGE, the genetic cause, diagnosis, early medical interventions, and the treatment and management of many features of the condition and related difficulties.
Throughout these pages, you’ll also find links to a wide range of other relevant information resources.
