Sense College

Sense College is an independent specialist college that gives you the education and skills you need to achieve your independent living, education and employment goals.

At Sense College, you can communicate and express yourself your way.

We offer personalised learning for young people with complex disabilities, aged between 16 and 25, tailoring what you do and how you learn to your wants and needs.

You will be supported to achieve your chosen outcomes through formal study programmes, employment, sport and leisure activities within the local community that are fun, but offer the right level of challenge for you.

We will work with you to develop your confidence and independence, and support you to fulfill your potential.

Our education programme is fully inspected by Ofsted. View our latest report on the Ofsted website.

We also have our own Sense Quality Framework to make sure that we support you in the best possible way and our Sense Outcomes Framework means we can show the impact our support has on the areas of life that most affect you.

“Teachers and specialist support staff are very skilled in working with learners who have highly complex learning difficulties and/or disabilities. As a result, learners make good progress from their starting points.”
