Bristol Toy and Tech

Play isn’t just for fun – it’s super important for a child’s development too! Our Toy and Tech project supports families to access specialist resources at home, for free, so you can discover new ways to form connections and support your child’s development.

You’ll be able to borrow a curated bundle of sensory resources for six weeks so you can explore at your own pace, supported by our Play Leaders, and experience different ways to learn through play. Our resource bundle includes a range of items so there’s something to suit everyone! The bundle includes approximately 6 different resources, curated for the age range of,3yrs+. Items per bundle may vary and include resources such as switch activated lights, musical instruments, sensory building blocks, and tactile toys. If you have any questions regarding the resources included, please contact [email protected].

How it works

Families will be provided with a resource bundle to use at home for approximately six weeks. Families will be required to collect and return their resource bundle in-person and will be responsible for transporting the kit to and from home. You must also adhere to the guidance detailed in our Toy and Tech agreement.

To participate, you must be able to attend the date below to collect the toy and tech box and then return the box at a date that will be approximately 6 weeks from the original date. Please note all sessions are in-person at The Vassall Centre.

You will receive details about the date in which the box can be returned nearer the time.
