Tour de Sense - Inclusive Cycling | Waltham Forest

About the activity:

This inclusive cycling session delivered by Bike Works, in partnership with Better, offers a fun and welcoming way to stay active. Taking part in this activity can support individuals with balance, strength and coordination. This session is free and pre-booking is not required.

We will have an amazing range of cycles available for you to use throughout the session, including:

And there will also be a selection of two wheel bikes available.

Who is this for?

This activity is created for everyone and all ages are welcome along to try out our range of cycles.

The trikes are designed for disabled people with complex needs. They have independent steering and individuals will need to be able to sit on a trike independently. If further assistance is required there are other cycles such as the side by side cycle where a carer can support an individual.

Who is the activity leader?

This activity will be facilitated by Bike Works and staff will be there to support on the day.

This activity is funded by Better and Waltham Forest Council.

Accessibility

This inclusive cycling session is based at Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre. This centre has automatic doors and the running track is on the ground floor at the back of the building. A wide corridor leads from the centre to the track so will be wheelchair accessible.

There is an externally managed car park on site. If you have a blue badge, please show it to our reception team to get any charges removed.
