Tour de Sense Cycling Event, 18+ | Liverpool
About the activity
To celebrate the start of the Tour de France, we are holding an accessible cycling event in Liverpool, Greenbank Sports Academy . Part of our Tour de Sense initiative, this year sponsored by Decathlon, this event aims to encourage disabled people with complex needs to have a go at cycling and contribute towards a Sense-wide effort to reach as many miles as possible!
The event will involve the following:
- Open cycle sessions in Sefton Park
- Arm Crank activities
- Decathlon goodie bags
Taking part in this activity will help you to develop coordination, communication skills and improve mental and physical wellbeing.
Available time slots –
10:30 am- 12:00pm
1:00pm – 2:30pm
3:00pm – 4:30pm

Who is this for?
This activity is suitable for disabled people with complex needs aged 18+. Everyone is welcome to attend along with parents, siblings, carers and friends.
Who is the activity leader?
Aigburth Community Cycling Club will be facilitating the event with a number of qualified cycling instructors on hand to provide support and advice, along with some friendly and enthusiastic volunteers.
Accessibility
The venue is fully accessible with wheelchair access and a Changing Places toilet. There is a free on-site car park.
