Join us for our Summer Holiday Visual Arts line up at Loughborough Hub. You can book onto as many of the workshops as you would like to attend.
We recommend wearing old clothes to these sessions. Aprons are available.
Tuesday 4th August – 1100-1300
Colour Pop – Explore the work of Turner Prize winner Nnena Kalu. We will explore the materials and techniques in the 2D and 3D work Nnena exhibited as part of her Turner Prize exhibition in Bradford earlier this year.

Join Resident Visual Artist Hannah at the Sense Summer Garden Party

Solar printing – come and try printing with the power of the sun. We will make our own Anthotype papers to create beautiful prints with found objects and ready made transparencies. This workshop will take place outside in our Forest School area.
Workshops are 2 hours in duration, drop in anytime during this window.
Who’s it for?
Summer Holiday Visual Arts workshops are for children of all ages and a wide range of complex disabilities, please disclose all access needs so we can ensure we adapt the session in the best way for you or the person you are supporting.
Siblings are welcome. You do not need to book a space for parent, carer or support staff.

Access
Sessions use tactile and sensory techniques and are also suitable for those with a visual impairment.
Safety is always priority at Sense. In the case of an emergency evacuation, all studio visitors will be required to evacuate via a single flight of stairs. Please let us know in advance if anyone attending may need assistance in an emergency evacuation. This may be for a number of reasons such as a medical condition, disability or injury.
