Sensory walk Rushcliffe Country Park | 0-12 years

Join us our sensory walk at Rushcliffe country park . Our Play Leaders will guide you on a fun filled adventure around the different areas of the park. During the walk, we’ll be engaging each of our senses to connect with our surroundings; from discovering what plants we can smell, exploring how different natural materials feel and what animals we can hear. Sensory activities will be included throughout the walk. Our Sensory walks are a great way for the family to explore the outdoors together whilst developing the senses and can even improve mood and reduce stress.

We recommend bringing wellies and waterproofs for this adventure, we may find some thick oozy mud along the way!

This session there are concretes paths, bark paths and some grassy areas.

There is plenty of disabled bays and parking costs £1.50 for up to 3 hours, and £3.00 for over 3 hours. our walk is planned for 2-3 hours so 3+ hours is best.
