Nature Detectives | Loughborough Summer Holiday
Our Nature Detectives sessions take place outdoors, in our Forest School at our Loughborough Hub, delivered by a qualified Forest School practitioner. From nature crafts, mud kitchen exploring, and bug hunting, to building shelters and making delicious snacks over the fire pit; there will be a range of different activities each week to support children to build a connection to the world around us and an understanding of we fit within it. Our approach to learning encourages children to lead and offers the opportunity to explore, take risks, make choices and initiate learning for themselves. This supports children to expand on their abilities by developing creativity, navigating real-world situations and build self-belief and resilience.
Each week we will follow a new theme from circus to under the sea where we will explore with all of our senses. We will be using a range tools, creating fires and making tasty snacks during the summer sessions.
