London Zoo Visit - Connect and Play Families

**Please ensure you have read all the information**

Step into a world of wildlife at London Zoo this summer! Join us on Thursday 13th August for a fantastic day out exploring one of the world’s most famous zoos, home to hundreds of amazing animal species from around the globe. From majestic lions and playful penguins to fascinating reptiles and colourful birds, there is plenty to discover for the whole family. Families will be able to enjoy the zoo at their own pace, allowing children to explore the animals and exhibits in a way that suits their individual needs and interests.

Ticket Information:

Please book 1 ticket per family and include the exact number of people attending. We can provide a maximum of 4 tickets per family (up to 2 adults and 2 children). If your family requires fewer than 4 tickets, please only request the number you need so that we can make the best use of the tickets available. If you have any children under 3 years old, please mention on the form as they can attend for free.

The tickets provided for this event are intended for the child supported by Sense, their parent(s)/carer(s), and sibling(s) only. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer tickets for extended family members, friends, or other guests, as these tickets have been allocated specifically for disabled children and eligible family members.

Entry Information:

A member of the Sense team will be waiting at the zoo entrance between 10:30am and 11:30am to welcome families and distribute tickets. Please ensure you arrive and enter the zoo during this time window, as we cannot guarantee entry outside of these times. We will email all booked families closer to the event with details of the specific gate to use as it will be different to the general entry gate.

Once inside, families are free to explore the zoo independently for the remainder of the day.

Accessibility:

London Zoo is wheelchair accessible across much of the site and has accessible toilets and changing facilities available. If you require any additional adjustments or support, please contact us before the event and we will do our best to assist.

Who is this trip for?

This session is for families who are part of our free Connect and Play service, which supports disabled children aged 0–8 with complex needs. If you are not part of our service yet, please complete our service enquiry form or contact [email protected] to speak with a member of our team.
