About the activity

Our inclusive cycling sessions offer a fun and welcoming way to stay active. With a variety of cycles to choose from, you can find the best cycle for you.

By taking part, you’ll boost your strength and coordination, stay independent, and enjoy social connection along the way.

Who is this for?

This activity is for disabled people with complex needs. Support staff will be expected to support during the session.

Important: Please note that, for safety reasons and due to weight restrictions, wheelchair platform bikes may not be compatible with certain types of electric wheelchairs. We’ll do our best to accommodate.

Who is the activity leader?

The staff at John Charles Centre for Sport are onsite to support with accessing the bikes. Cycling activities are mostly self-led expect for on occassions when volunteers from Wheels4All are able to attend. Wheels4All have lots of experience working with disabled people with complex needs and are passionate about offering cycling to all.

Accessibility

The activity is held on the athletics track at John Charles Centre for Sport with simple access for wheelchairs or mobility aids. Disabled toilets and changing facilities are located on site.
