Sensory Dance with Dancing Miss Daisy, 8-25 years old | Barnet
About the activity:
Dancing Miss Daisy is back at Unitas to deliver their free Sensory Dance Workshops! Join Miss Daisy for the perfect opportunity to stay active through movement, in a fun and welcoming environment. It’s a great chance to meet new people and build social connections. Each workshop will be based from Unitas Youth Zone, in Barnet.
The workshops are free (once signed up as a Unitas Limitless member) and 2026 dates are as follows:
- 13th of September 10.30 – 11.30am
- 11th of October 10.30 – 11.30am
- 15th of November 10.30 – 11.30am
- 6th of December 10.30 – 11.30am

- The date of the workshop/s you would like to book.
- Participants’ full name and date of birth.
- Any additional support that may be required.
In order to book, the participant needs to be a Limitless member at Unitas. Membership is £5 per year and then 50p per session entry (including each time you attend the Sensory Dance Workshop). Included in the 50p entry is access to the Youth Zone post-workshop. This will mean you can access other rooms and activities on the same day.

Who is this for?
This activity is suitable for both beginners and those with previous experience in Dance. All activities will be suitably modified to suit the participant. This activity is suitable for disabled people aged between 8-25 with complex needs.
Who is the activity leader?
This activity is led by Daisy Gilder, at Dancing Miss Daisy. She has lots of experience in delivering Dance and working with disabled people with complex needs. Accessibility:
This activity is delivered in an indoor space at Unitas and is wheelchair and mobility aid accessible throughout. There is also parking and disabled toilets available on-site.
Parents/support workers will need to stay for the duration of the Sensory Dance Workshop.
