Circus theme Sensory walk Outwoods Loughborough | 0-12 years

Join us our circus sensory walk at Outwoods in Loughborough. Our Play Leaders will guide you on a fun filled adventure around the different areas of the park. During the walk, we’ll be engaging each of our senses to connect with our surroundings; from discovering what plants we can smell, exploring how different natural materials feel and what animals we can hear. Sensory activities will be included throughout the walk. Our Sensory walks are a great way for the family to explore the outdoors together whilst developing the senses and can even improve mood and reduce stress.

We recommend bringing wellies and waterproofs for this adventure, we may find some thick oozy mud along the way!

This session there is some hills up and down and some bumpy paths. Paths are wide enough for wheelchairs but may need some big pushes on some parts of the walk. There is a Cafe at the end of the walk where you can purchase food or drinks or feel free to bring along your own selection.

Car parking is free for blue badge holders when your badge is displayed, otherwise parking costs £2 for the day.

Who is it for?

This session is for families who are part of our free Connect and Play service, which supports children with complex disabilities. If you’re not sure whether this session is for you, please complete our service enquiry form or contact [email protected] to speak with a member of our team.

At least one parent/carer must attend the full session with each child and siblings are also welcome to attend for free.
