We’re excited to offer free tickets to Sunshine Tales by Chickenshed – a special themed performance packed with all the fun of Tales from the Shed! These vibrant, inclusive shows are for children 0-6 years, featuring songs, movement, and language games in an interactive, shared space.

Each performance introduces a fresh theme and beloved characters, inspiring creativity, encouraging emotional expression, and fostering social interaction—creating lasting memories for children and families.

Seating is mostly on mats on the floor so that children and performers can freely move around the space. Chairs are available for anyone who would prefer not to sit on the floor.

The performance begins at 10am and is a 45-minute show.

Please Note:  Please book 1 ticket per family and include number of adults and siblings under 6 who will be attending. Max of 4 people per family.

Who is it for?

This performance is for specifically children aged 0-6 years. This session is for families who are part of our free Connect and Play service, which supports disabled children with complex needs. If you’re not sure whether this session is for you, please contact [email protected] to speak with a member of our team. At least one parent/carer must attend the full session with each child.

Getting There

Driving: Free parking is available immediately outside the building. There are five disabled parking bays. If you have mobility issues, a disabled bay or an easy access space can be booked in advance through the Box Office on 020 8292 9222. There is additional free parking available on neighbouring streets.

Tube Stations: The theatre is located approximately 10 minutes walk from Cockfosters Underground Station and 12 minutes from Oakwood Underground Station. Both stations are on the Piccadilly line.

Bus: Routes 298, 299, 307 and N91 stop outside the theatre.
