Other ways to write your will

Write your Will online

Farewill is the UK’s number one online Will writing service. You can use it to quickly and easily write your Will online. All you need to do is visit the Farewill website, and use the voucher code Sense-Website at checkout to claim your free Will.

Once you’ve finished, one of Farewill’s experts will check your Will within five working days. When your Will is ready, you can download, print and sign it with two witnesses to make it legal. Alternatively, you could continue to make free, unlimited updates for up to a year. After that, you can choose to pay £10 a year if you’d like the option to update your Will any time.

Need some help with writing your Will? You can book a callback from Farewill to have a specialist talk you through the process over the phone. Alternatively, call 020 8138 0656 for support from 9am-6pm, Monday to Saturday.

Write your Will at home

The Goodwill Partnership offer a home visit from a trained counsellor at a time that suits you – daytime, evenings or weekends. To use this service call 01492 510340 or visit The Goodwill Partnership website.

Frequently asked questions about Wills

Do I have to leave a gift to Sense to use the free Will writing service?

You don’t have to leave a gift to Sense if you use our services, though of course we hope that you’ll consider it. Including a gift to Sense, alongside friends and family, in your Will is an incredible way to support children and adults living with complex disabilities.

Does Sense write the Will?

The partner you choose will write the Will, not Sense. Sense won’t get a copy of the Will. We also won’t be told what’s in your Will, unless you explicitly give consent for the partner to tell us that you’ve left a gift to Sense.

Are there any limits on what I can do for free?

Our free Will writing services are for simple individual Wills and mirror Wills for couples.

If your Will is more complicated, there might be an additional charge. Your solicitor will outline the costs for you, so that you can choose whether you’d like to continue.
