Homemade edible slime
This slime has a fun texture, and is completely edible! Have fun exploring the ingredients and experimenting with different flavours and smells.
Try dividing the mixture up before adding the colour, so you can make a range of colours. Then, see what happens when you mix different slimes together – the possibilities are endless! You’ll need to prep this activity the night before.

- 50g chia seeds
- 600ml water
- Cornflour
- Food colouring
- Big and small bowls
- Airtight container

Top tips
- You can use orange juice, squash or other flavoured drinks in lieu of water to change the taste – you can even flavour water using natural food flavourings like peppermint
