Commentary
The recent implementation of new systems and processes has provided greater insight and better identification of employee protected characteristics data and any associated trends.
Although we have implemented new systems and increased our identification of staff who declare a protected characteristics there are still significant numbers of staff across all Quartiles who do not declare an Ethnicity. Increased internal communications promoting completion and updating of personal details will continue over the course of 2024.
The numbers of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic employees remain low across all Quartiles in relation to White employees. We are continuing to develop inclusive recruitment practices with the aim to increase diversity and representation across all Quartiles.
As an organisation we are proud to continue our yearly performance of reporting a 0% Disability Pay Gap.
It’s important to us at Sense that we continue to ensure our reward and recognition strategies support us in developing a culture of inclusion and equity which is diverse in retaining, developing and all employees throughout our organisation.
