About the activity

Have a go at sailing or canoeing in fully adaptable boats, or take a leisurely ride on the powerboat. Following these taster sessions you will have the opportunity to attend any of the Inclusive sessions currently running at All Aboard Watersports. Taking part in this activity will help you to develop coordination, communication skills and improve mental wellbeing.

All children will need to be accompanied by a parent/carer on the boats. There may be space for siblings to join but these will be allocated nearer the time if numbers allow. Please specify when booking if there are siblings wishing to attend.

Who is this for?

This activity is suitable for disabled people with complex needs and open to children and young people aged 8-18 years.

Who is the activity leader?

These sessions are led by qualified watersports instructors who have lots of experience working with disabled people. The staff are all friendly, encouraging and patient.

Accessibility

Parking is available off Cumberland Road next to the Cottage Inn. The venue is fully accessible for wheelchairs and disabled toilets are available. There is wheelchair access and hoists to support people in and out of boats.
