Volunteer with disabled people

Buddy up with a new friend, get creative at a play or activity session, or lend a hand at one of our Sense Centres. There are so many ways you can get involved to support disabled people in your local community!

We love working with volunteers who are as passionate as we are about making a difference to disabled people with complex communication needs.

At Sense, we believe everyone, no matter how complex their communication needs, deserves the right to be connected and part of society.

Across England, Northern Ireland and Wales our volunteer teams bring their enthusiasm, skills, experience and time to make a tangible difference to the people and projects where they volunteer.

Whether you're looking to meet new people, develop your skills and experience, give something back or try something new, we'll work with you to connect you to a role to match.
