Become a volunteer fundraiser

With your enthusiasm, energy and passion for getting involved and bringing people together, you can make a real difference by raising money for Sense.

There are lots of exciting ways that you can put your interests, enthusiasm, and energy to work to help raise vital money and awareness for Sense.

Give an inspirational talk, support our local and national events, organise a fundraising collection – or come up with your own fundraising activity!

Whatever you want to get from your time as a Sense fundraising volunteer, we can support you to make it happen.

Here are some ideas for how you can connect with your community and make a real difference.

Events fundraiser

Use your creative flair and organisational skills to set up a local fundraising event, or support one of our national activities or challenges. You could host a charity football match or fashion show, or cheer on our sporting heroes at the Virgin Money London Marathon or RidgeWalk.

Inspirational fundraising speaker

It’s so important to spread the word about who we are and what we do. As a Sense Speaker, you’ll rise to the challenge of talking to local schools, groups and societies about Sense and the work that we do.

A bucket collection coordinator

Are you the local hero that we’re looking for? We need enthusiastic people to run and organise bucket collection events in your community. As part of Team Sense, you’ll get to meet, spend time and make a difference with people who share your passion.

Collection box coordinator

Join our team as a collection box coordinator and you can use your energy and people skills to raise thousands of pounds every year. Getting out and about in your community, you’ll build relationships with local schools, retailers and businesses.

Or, why not join or set up a fundraising group?

This is a chance to get really creative and come up with fundraising ideas that you can put into action in your community. Get together with family, friends or colleagues and set up a new fundraising group, or join an existing group near you.
