Fundraise at your school

There are lots of great ways that you can raise money for Sense at your school, with activities that kids (and staff!) will love.

Whether you’re getting creative with a blindfolded art competition, holding a sponsored silence or organising a fancy dress non-uniform day, fundraising at your school is a brilliant way to support Sense.

We have lots of ideas to kick off your fundraising, as well as free resources to help you along the way!

Join us in our mission - to make sure no one,  no matter how complex their disabilities, is isolated, left out, or unable to fulfil their potential.

It has been a pleasure to fundraise for such a worthwhile cause. We particularly appreciated a visit from a fundraiser, who explained the work of this wonderful charity.

Need some inspiration?

Here are a few ways that your school could make a big difference:

  • Organise a fancy dress or silly hair day.
  • Partner with us for Deafblind Awareness Week in June, or choose Sense as your charity of the year.
  • Organise a deaf football tournament (ask our Community Fundraising Team for more details).
  • Hold a Drumathon event.
  • Hold a sponsored silence.

How we'll support you at school

When you register your school to fundraise for Sense, our team will be on hand to help with anything you need to make it a huge success.

As well as our free schools fundraising pack, we can send you posters, leaflets, collection tins, stickers, balloons and much more.

If you'd like us to, we can come along to speak in assembly or organise workshops to explain what it’s like to be deafblind or live with other complex disabilities.

So, whether you work in a school, have children there, or just know of a local school that would be interested in getting involved, get in touch with us today.
