Why step out for Sense?

Help raise the profile of Sense and spread the word about the support we provide to the people in your local community.

We’d love you to step out for Sense this Deafblind Awareness Week (24-30 June) the more people we have spreading the word about all we do, the more communities we can reach and the more we can achieve together!

About the Birmingham walk

Join your local Sense Walk at Cannon Hill Park – a family focused sponsored 5k walk to celebrate Deafblind Awareness Week and raise vital funds to support children and adults who are deafblind or have complex disabilities.

The focus is on fun, coming together and celebrating Sense. There will be awareness raising stands, face paint, glitter tattoos and we would love for families to have a picnic in the park after the event to celebrate the work of Sense. The park has accessible toilets, a café in the MAC centre, mini golf and fairground rides.

It’s free to take part – we just ask that you raise as much as you can in sponsorship.

So if you'd like to join the Birmingham Sense Walk, fill in the form below.
