Last year Captain Sir Tom Moore completed the now famous 100 laps of his garden for charity.

Friday 30 April 2021 would have been his 101st birthday, and to mark this momentous date, the Captain Tom 100 Challenge asks people to take on a challenge around the number 100 over Captain Tom's birthday weekend.

Whether you learn 100 BSL signs or dance for 100 minutes, you can take part in the Captain Tom 100 Challenge anytime and anywhere from Friday 30 April to Monday 3 May 2021.

  • Learn 100 BSL signs

How your fundraising supports children who are deafblind

Your fundraising and donations help us to support children who are deafblind or have complex disabilities.

  • £25 could help pay for colourful, textured sight and sound tubes. These tubes contain jingling bells, so a child who is deafblind can explore different sounds and sensations.
  • £50 could help pay for a set of five light-up sight and sound tubes for a child who is deafblind to help stimulate their vision and hearing.
  • £100 could pay for a visit from a Sense Children and Family Support Worker who can give invaluable advice and support to the whole family when they need it most.
