Thank you for making Sense Holidays possible for children like Bronte.

I met 12-year-old Bronte, when I volunteered on a Sense Holiday at Macaroni Wood, a fully accessible woodland retreat set in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Bronte is a lovely, cheeky little girl, who loves spending time with other people. She can only see about a metre in front of her, has hearing loss, and uses a wheelchair. She can’t speak or use sign language, so you can imagine what a huge challenge it is for her parents to find somewhere to take her on holiday.

That’s why Sense Holidays are so special for children like Bronte. For this one week, children have a holiday that’s entirely built around them.

One-to-one support from trained volunteers like me means that there are no obstacles in the way of all the exciting things a child can experience. Bronte particularly enjoyed her visit to the farm, where there were so many different smells and textures for her to explore and learn from. She even fed a few of the animals so she could feel them nuzzling her hand!

Please enter the Sense Spring Raffle today. Not only will you be in with the chance of winning an amazing prize, but you’ll also be giving children who are deafblind the chance to experience their very own fun-fuelled Sense Holiday.

Thank you.

What would you do with £4,000?

Rob and his wife Bridget won £4,000 in the Sense Raffle and used the prize money to go on a dream holiday to China.
