How your money can help
This Christmas, will you bring Christmas cheer to a child like Bethany, who is deafblind and has complex disabilities?
The Sense Christmas Family Day is part of Bethany's family Christmas tradition. Bethany goes every year with her grandma and grandpa. It is a chance for her to make friends with children who also use sign language, and to have a whole day of activities where everything’s adapted to her needs.
Knowing how important these Sense Christmas Family Days are for children like Bethany, and their families, we are determined that they will go ahead – even if it is virtually. Bethany and her family attended last year’s Christmas family day online, alongside 77 other families, so they know it will be a very special day again!
Your support means that Sense can make another very different Christmas magical for a child like Bethany.
By taking part in the Sense Christmas Raffle, not only will you be in with the chance of winning an amazing prize, but you could also help make sure we are there for children like Bethany, through every chapter of their lives:
Imagine having £4,000 in your bank account to treat yourself and your loved ones!

Thank you for your support, and good luck!
£12 could pay for a sensory toy for two children, like a light up tambourine which Bethany loves. You could help to stimulate the limited sight that a child may have, as well as their sense of touch.
£24 will pay for a special Christmas sensory story for children to take part in. To do so, we’ll need your help to deliver sensory story packs to families. Each pack will include a book, plus sensory items to help the story come alive – like a soft toy, cotton wool to represent snow, a fabric Santa sack and wrapping paper. Bethany loves sensory stories so this will definitely be a highlight of the day for her!
£36 covers the cost of one group activity led by a Sense Specialist Teacher, so your support could help make sure that coronavirus doesn’t take away any of the magic of Christmas for a child like Bethany.
