What is it?

Nene Park Trust is hosting a Winter Festival. The festival includes a light trail through the woodland with seasonal music. There will also be the opportunity to roast marshmallows over a fire, performers to watch and an outdoor heated cinema experience. The walk is not on paved surfaces and although it has been made to be level with some matting down there is no guarantee that in wet weather it will be fully accessible to wheelchairs.

Who is it for?

Anyone of any age living with complex disabilities who responds well to sensory input such as lights and music.

About the venue

Nene Park Trust host a number of events over the year at the site as well as having the site open to guests all year round. The Winter Festival will be based by the water sports centre where there is a changing spaces toilets available. The venue is outdoors in a country park and so the weather may have an effect on the experience.
