Under the Sea | Sparkhill 5-8yrs

Join us for a family fun session exploring what’s to discover under the sea! There will be a range of themed sensory activities for all the family; from decorating shells to exploring sandy sensory bottles and our own rockpool full of friendly sea creatures! Through sensory stories, games and crafts, we'll be engaging our senses and imagination to explore under the sea and support your child to develop communication and play skills. This session is a great way to have fun as a family, whilst supporting your child’s communication, interaction and play skills.Alongside our sensory activities, light refreshments will also be provided during the session.

Our sea themed sessions will take place on 3 & 31 August, 1.00-2.30pm. These will be the same the session, so we’d recommend just attending one session, on the date that suits you best.

Who is it for?

This session is for families who are part of our free Connect and Play service, which supports children with complex disabilities. If you’re not sure whether this session is for you, please complete our service enquiry form or contact [email protected] to speak with a member of our team.

This session is specifically for children aged 5-8yrs. We also have a separate session for children aged 0-4yrs, which you can book via our activity finder. At least one parent/carer must attend the full session with each child and siblings are also welcome to attend for free.
