Summer holiday Forest School Birmingham 0-8 - Circus

Join us for our Summer Forest School in this weeks session we will be a circus theme. This week we will be painting using natural materials and exploring our balance skills, we will also be toasting our own brioche buns as an extra circus treat!

Children will be given the opportunity to use tools such as bow saw and activities such as whittling sticks to make chairs and beds. They will also be able to explore the outdoors at their own pace, experiencing the mud kitchen, swings and other areas of the forest school, all while being encouraged by our experienced forest school leader to try and take on new adventures.

Our approach to learning encourages children to lead and offers the opportunity to explore, take risks, make choices and initiate learning for themselves. This supports children to expand on their abilities by developing creativity, navigating real-world situations and build self-belief and resilience.

Through our forest school, we guide families through activities and techniques to improve interaction, and support personal, social and emotional development. Children will work towards forming relationships, managing behaviours, and developing self-confidence and self-awareness.

Please note that we recommend families to wear wellies and outdoor clothes with long sleeves and long trousers to these sessions no matter the weather.
