Specialist Early Years Group - Early Explorers Bradford

A specialist early years group delivered in collaboration with the Bradford Portage and VI services, based in a community venue Midland Road Nursery School, providing activities and opportunities to develop play and communication skills. Our group takes place weekly during school term time.

What does the session involve?

Our MSI Practitioner alongside the Bradford Portage and VI teams will introduce a range of activities and songs in a familiar routine that encourage body awareness, cause and effect, introduction to signs and actions.

Who's it for?

The group is for children who are Deafblind/Multi-sensory impaired or have either a vision or hearing impairment and additional needs, aged 0-5 years.

About the venue

Our group takes place within Midland Road Nursery,  with use of the sensory room.  We have a range of sensory toys available, the venue is fully accessible with a changing facility. Parking is limited onsite but there is on road parking available nearby.

About our activity leader

Our group is led by our MSI Practitioners Sue and Alex who are part of the Children's MSI Service, alongside Joanne from Bradford VI Service and Lisa from Bradford Portage Service. They will welcome you and your child to our session and will guide you through each part of the activities, and most of all will ensure you have fun.
