Sensory Exploration | Selly Oak 0-4yrs

Our Sensory Exploration sessions explore a new theme each week, to engage all the senses and develop learning through Play. Children are encouraged to lead and explore what’s of interest to them. From games to arts and crafts and messy play, these sessions are a great way to build connections, develop new skills and enhance creativity, in a safe and supportive environment.

Each week is designed as a stand-alone session; ideal for families who are new to the Connect and Play service or would like more flexible support to fit around their availability. Our Sensory Exploration sessions for 0-4yrs run on Tuesdays, 10.30-11.30am and Wednesdays, 1.30-2.30pm. We recommend that you attend just one Sensory Exploration session per week to avoid repeated sessions.

Who is it for?

This session is for families who are part of our free Connect and Play service, which supports children aged 0-8 with complex disabilities. If you’re not sure whether this session is for you, please complete our service enquiry form or contact [email protected] to speak with a member of our team.

This session is specifically for children aged 0-4yrs. We also have a separate session for children aged 5-8yrs, which you can book via our activity finder. At least one parent/carer must attend the full session with each child and siblings are also welcome to attend for free.

How can I join?

Spaces must be booked in advance via our website. If your new to Connect and Play, please ensure that you also complete our full referral form.
