Midlands MSI Young Peoples Group
What does the session involve?
Meets on the last Saturday of each month from 10.30 – 2.30pm at Touchbase Pears before going out within the community. Activities vary each time dependent on the wishes of the group.
Who's it for?
The group is for young people aged 14 – 25 who are deafblind. To develop their independence, social skills and to make friends and have fun.
The young people in the group must be able to manage their own personal care, feeding needs independently.
Young people attend without their parent/carers and are supported by volunteers.
About our activity leader
Our group is led by our MSI Practitioner Karine who is part of the Children and Young People's MSI Service. Karine will match young people with a skilled volunteer to support them to access the group.
