Festival Fun | Selly Oak 5-8yrs
Join us for some festival themed fun! We’ll be exploring all the sights, sounds and smells of a festival through sensory stories, crafts and music. There’s an activity for everyone; design your own glitzy headdress, make some tasty festival fudge, or even create your own ribbon dance! We'll also be joined by Spinsonic Entertainment, who will be teaching us lots of exciting new circus skills such as plate spinning, juggling balls and hula hooping! This session is a great way for children and families to interact and express themselves in a new, fun way.
During our session, Sense's Siblings and Young Carer's team will be joining us, to share information about their service and offer additional activities specifically for siblings aged 5-18yrs. We understand the importance of having your own time and space to relax and share experiences with people who understand. During the session, siblings will be able to enjoy some separate time with their peers, enjoying activities designed just for them. If this is something you're interested in, you can opt in via our session booking form. Please be aware that these activities will take place in a separate room and will be staffed by a Connect and Play Play Leader, as well as a staff member of Sense's Sibling Team.
Our Summer sessions for children aged 5-8yrs are part of Birmingham County Council’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme. This means that, alongside our fun sensory activities, families will be provided with a free lunch during the day.
