About the event

Join us for a virtual field trip to meet with our team in Kenya and hear directly from the people we support.

Over a million people in Kenya live with a form of deafblindness, yet there are limited services available to help them develop, learn and thrive. Many children are kept hidden away from society due to discrimination against people with disabilities.

Hosted by Sense and Sense International's Chief Executive, Richard Kramer, this exclusive event will connect live with our experts in Kenya to learn how we've been supporting people with deafblindness during the pandemic.

You'll hear from families caring for a child with deafblindness who have received emergency food, hygiene supplies and counselling to help them manage the impact that COVID-19 is having on their lives.

For your pre-flight entertainment why not watch our video from our team in Tanzania where we're supporting children with deafblindness to get an inclusive education.
