Birmingham 2022 Festival relaxed live site – Friday: 6pm – 8pm

  • This scheduled-activity has passed.

EEnjoy the Commonwealth Games like never before here in Selly Oak.

This summer, Sense TouchBase Pears will host the first relaxed live festival sites as part of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, the most inclusive games ever.

A relaxed live site is all about making sure you can enjoy the games in a way that’s meaningful for you. Whether that’s with your shoes and socks off, lounging on a bean bag in a quiet space, or getting involved with an art, sports or music workshop.

Enjoy a range of sport, art and music activities plus tasty food and drink at our accessible, inclusive, family friendly venue!

There’ll be lots of comfy seating, two big TV screens showing the games live from Birmingham, indoor and outdoor areas, dimmed lights and quiet chill out zones.

As well as watching your favourite sports live on the big screen, there’s lots for you to get involved in during your visit to Sense TouchBase Pears. Some of our activities have limited numbers, so be sure take a look at the things you might be interested in doing so that you can book on to them when you arrive at the venue.

Who’s it for?

Whilst our Commonwealth live sites are open to the whole community, with a relaxed atmosphere and accessible facilities, they’re especially enjoyable for those with complex disabilities or sensory impairments.
