Richard Kramer, Chief Executive
Richard was appointed Sense and Sense International Chief Executive in July 2018, having joined as Deputy Chief Executive in 2013.
Prior to joining Sense, Richard was Director at Turning Point for ten years. He held a number of director-level positions, across policy, campaigns, business development and led the department that developed the innovative Connected Care model, which involved members of local communities in the design and delivery of health and social care services.
A qualified solicitor, Richard has previously worked for Mencap and NCVO. Richard was a Trustee of Respond for ten years, a Trustee of a Multi Academy Trust for seven years and is a former board member of the Campaign to End Loneliness. He is currently Vice-Chair of the Disabled Children’s Partnership.
Sarah White, Head of Policy, Public Affairs and Research
Sarah leads our work with influencing the government and policy makers. The focus of her team is ensuring that government policy takes into account the needs of people with complex disabilities and their families.
Prior to joining Sense in 2014, Sarah worked for the NHS as an Audiologist. Outside of her role at Sense, Sarah is on the leadership team at her church and is involved in a number of strategic committees and volunteering roles.
