Sense TouchBase Pears is a multipurpose centre for the whole community, including you!
We have rooms available to rent for meetings and activities. If you’re from a local community group, business or not-for-profit group, we could be the perfect venue for you.
Our facilities are designed to support people who have complex disabilities, including deafblindness.
Our facilities include:
- Wide doors.
- Induction loops.
- Lifts.
- Flat level entry from car park to front door.
- Disabled toilets with rails.
- Onsite parking (including spaces for blue badge holders).
- Gated outdoor toilet and exercise facilities for assistant dogs.
The Buzz
The Buzz is our largest space (17m x 12m) and includes:
- Audio-visual equipment.
- Air conditioning.
- Free WiFi.
- Lots of natural light.
- Access to main foyer and outdoor space for breakout areas.
- Curtains for added privacy.
The Buzz is the perfect place for activities needing a little more space like fitness sessions, large scale training events, public meetings, social events and parties, away days and community events.
The Hub
The Hub is our smaller, foyer space (7m x 14m) and includes:
- Lots of natural light.
- Great links to outdoor space.
- Flexible furniture options.
- Curtains for added privacy if needed.
This space is ideal for coffee mornings, networking events, book clubs and parent groups.
Meeting rooms
At Sense TouchBase Pears we have meeting rooms suitable for groups ranging from two to thirty-two people. Our rooms have digital presentation screens, complimentary wifi and flipcharts and pens on request.
