Sense Connect
Sense Connect is our new national project for children and adults with complex disabilities and their families. The programme will offer disabled people and their siblings and young carers the opportunity to form social connections either 1:1 or in groups to help reduce loneliness, enhancing social cohesion and, most importantly, have fun!
In response to Covid-19 Sense has reconfigured our services. We've been continuing to offer services across our departments to children, young people, siblings, adults and their families. We've been providing virtual opportunities to engage in 1:1 sessions, groups and buddying as well as providing postal activities for those already known to us. We're now in a position to extend and scale up our offer nationally and reach new users externally.
Please note; making referral does not guarantee acceptance onto any of our programmes. We will contact the person making the referral to discuss next steps.
