The Foundation Learning pathway at Sense College supports you to follow a range of personalised targets that relate the outcomes of your Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). 

Learners can gain accredited qualifications and learning units, which will help you reach your future career or study goals, as well as any living skills you're interested in developing. 

You'll also develop your communication skills as well as build on your physical, social and emotional wellbeing, meaning you'll be prepared for life after Sense College.

Independence is a key part of Sense College. You may choose to focus on areas such as community living skills, meal preparation, home management and daily living skills. 

Careers advice and guidance

All learners at Sense College recieve information and advice on careers, as well as a personalised Vocational Action Plan which breaks down your goals into manageable steps. The Foundation Learning pathway offers a range of  work-based learning, social enterprise and voluntary opportunities prepare you for the workplace.

 

Qualifications

Sense College offers a range of accredited courses to support you to learn important life skills as well as reach your future career goals. Some of the courses we offer include maths, English, independent living, personal and social development and technology and e-safety.
