Our curriculum pathways

Learning for life

Our Learning for life pathway is a person-centred learning programme to develop your independence and prepare you for adulthood.

Foundation learning

On our Foundation learning pathway, you will follow a study programme consisting of courses linked to your career work and future study aspirations. You will follow entry 1, 2 and 3 courses preparing and progressing you towards Level 1 study.

If you aspire to achieve employment or acquire significant work experience that prepares you well for your intended vocation, then our Employability pathway is for you.

At Sense College you can:

  • Move onto higher levels of learning.
  • Be equipped with skills for the workplace.
  • Develop your confidence and independence.
  • Become more aware of, and access, local facilities.
  • Develop your healthy living and personal wellbeing.

Since our son started at Sense College, we have noticed a massive difference in the progress of his learning and an equally positive difference in his behaviour. As a family, all our lives have improved.
