How to play

What you’ll need

  • Numbered skittles, or similar
  • A ball

How to set up

  • Arrange the skittles in a random formation
  • Split players into two teams, and have them both face the skittles

Rules of the game

  • Each player takes a turn rolling the ball off their lap towards the skittles, alternating between teams
  • Each time a skittle is knocked down, the number on it is counted, then it’s stood back up again
  • When every player has taken their turn, the scores are added up and the team with the highest score wins.

Other ways to play

  • See how the game feels with different kinds of balls, like a tennis ball or a beach ball.
  • Make it more sensory by making the skittles really bright colours or adding lights to them
  • Adding benches as bumpers will make the game easier
  • Adjust the challenge by spacing out the skittles, or moving them closer together
