Inclusive relaxation and music session

Gently drift away with this inclusive relaxation session which explores how it feels to be held through sound, self-touch and a lovely guided meditation.

This guide is part of our Sense Arts, Sport & Wellbeing programme. This activity can be done at a time that suits you, either in your own space or in an educational setting.

Who is this for?

This is a workshop for people who are deafblind or have complex disabilities and can be enjoyed by anyone.

Why does this make a difference?

This is an arts workshop that promotes relaxation and mindfulness, and helps people learn by using their senses to connect with their surroundings through touch and sound.

What happens in the video?

Step 1

Set your space up to take part – you should have a large enough space to lie down in comfortably, and a large cushion, which is optional. Close your eyes, and follow along with the breathing exercises and movements in the video.
