How to make a dreamcatcher

How to do this activity
What you’ll need
- Something round to form the base of the dream catcher, like a cross-stitch hoop or thick card
- Scissors
- Tape
- Glue
- Things to decorate, like string, yarn or ribbon, beads, feathers, plastic bottles, washi tape, paint, coloured paper, felt tip pens or whatever you can find!
Step 1
Make your dreamcatcher’s hoop, if you don’t have one.
Step 2
Decorate your hoop with paint, glue, or felt-tips, and leave to dry if needed. Then wrap it with string, yarn or ribbons to make the web.
Step 3
Cut a few pieces of yarn or string in different lengths. Tie one end to the bottom rim of your dream catcher and then attach decorations by threading or tying them onto the other end.

- You can make your own feathers or beads from repurposed plastic bottles
