Friday 1 July 2022 – Sunday 31 July 2022
📍 In your front room, your office or your village hall.
Make a stir this summer – sign up to host a Sensational Tea Party!
This is a delicious excuse to connect with your community and to fill up on sweet treats, tea and laughter.
Get your friends and family together to enjoy the smell of fresh coffee, the squidge of soft brownies and the taste of second helpings – go on, it’s all for an amazing cause!
Sense supports over 8,000 people who are deafblind or living with complex disabilities.
Whether you’re serving penny buns or millionaire shortbread, every donation enables us to do more.
Ingredient list: what you need
Stocked with teacups, plates and forks (if you’re feeling fancy).
A generous guestlist.
Why not invite someone new? It’s impossible not to be friends once you’ve shared a slice of lemon drizzle.
Plenty of cake.
And maybe some biscuits too…
Your support means a lot to us
Every Sensational Tea Party is a chance to provide a sense of connection. As you bring your community together, the funds you raise will enable Sense to reach and support more people.
We work to ensure that people who are deafblind or who have complex disabilities can live full lives. Your Sensational Tea Party will help us to provide new experiences, and opportunities for joy and growth.
Here’s how your donations help
Excited to bake a change? We are too! By the end of your party, we want tea pots to be emptied and donation boxes (and guests) to be full to the brim.
£45 could pay for a sensory bag containing a children’s story, with tactile objects to bring a magical story to life.
£135 could help pay for a family to share precious moments together on a Sense Family Day.
£500 could pay for a visit from a Sense specialist teacher for children who are deafblind. They’ll be able to provide a child with an observational assessment and give individualised advice and support.
£725 could provide our core package of support for a family and their child for one year.
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to make someone else’s better.
