All about the Lake District Challenge

  • Choose your distance: 25km, 50km or 100km. You can walk, jog or run.
  • Start your trek in Kendal, travelling along the magnificent Lake Windermere, and through nature reserves and forests.
  • You can choose a “daylight” option, splitting the route into two days (with camping options) so that you’ll have sunlight all the way. Or, you can choose to power through in 24 hours!
  • Take part as an individual or part of a team. Remember, we’ll be here to support you every step of the way!

How to get your place on the Lake District Challenge

Already got your own place on the Lake District Challenge, but want to raise money for Sense? Let us know today! Use your own place.

This event is organised by Ultra Challenge. You can take part with Team Sense by choosing one of the following options:

  • Paint mark illustration of two people high fiving

    Full sponsorship for charity
You’ll pay a small registration fee – £10, £20 or £30, depending on the distance you choose – and then raise a larger target for charity.

  • Mixed sponsorship for charity
You’ll pay for half of your place on the challenge. That’ll be £45, £72.50 or £110 depending on which route you’re doing. Then you’ll have a smaller fundraising target. See full details of how to sign up on the Ultra Challenge website.
