Hearing it again helps the brain grow and improves understanding. It also helps with guessing what comes next and showing likes and dislikes.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block    accordion__item\"> \t<summary class=\"accordion__title\">\n\t\t<h2 class=\"accordion__toggle\">\n\t\tHow to prepare for a sensory story\n\t\t<\/h2>\n\t<\/summary>\n\n\t<div class=\"accordion__content\">\n\t\t<div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-secondary-bullets\">\n<li>Choose a quiet and comfortable place for your sensory story. Consider lighting noise and the physical environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose a time when the person you are supporting can relax and engage with the story. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Think about your persons experiences in relation to the story. What objects and movements will be most meaningful? Any of these resources can be substituted so that they are accessible and relate to your child\u2019s experience.
