Take part in our shopping survey

29 January 2013

When we asked a group of around 150 deafblind people what affected their sense of belonging and participation in society – shopping came out top of the list.

Two people purchase goods togetherWe would be interested to hear a bit more from you about shopping. If you are hearing and sight impaired, or are close to someone who is, please take a few moments to tell us about your experiences of shopping.

We’d like to know about your regular grocery shop, but also your experiences shopping for things like shoes, books and gifts, either on the high street or online.

We will publish the findings, and we will aim to use the results to highlight how retailers can make a difference to the shopping experience of their deafblind customers.

You can complete our online survey (opens in new window) or, if you prefer, you can make an appointment to get some telephone support to complete the survey by contacting the Sense Information and Advice service on 0300 330 9256.
